Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Digital Broker Marketing ("Digital Broker Marketing," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital marketing and business growth infrastructure company based in Laguna Niguel, California. We serve established businesses across Southern California, including Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, and Ventura County.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at digitalbmarketing.com (the "Site"), how we use and share that information, how long we keep it, how we protect it, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to information collected through the Site, through email and phone communications with us, and through forms you submit to request our services.

This policy does not cover information we process on behalf of clients as part of a service engagement (for example, lead data inside a client's CRM). That information is governed by our written agreement with the client.

If anything in this policy is unclear, email us at hello@digitalbmarketing.com — we answer plainly.

2. Information You Provide Directly

You can browse most of the Site without giving us any personal information. We collect information you choose to provide, which typically includes:

  • Audit and contact requests. When you request a Free In-Person Growth Infrastructure Audit or contact us, we collect the details you enter: your first and last name, business name, phone number, email address, approximate current marketing spend, your preferred meeting arrangement, and anything you tell us about your goals or challenges.
  • Partner Program inquiries. If you apply to or ask about our Partner Program, we collect your name, contact details, professional background, and information about the business relationships relevant to the program.
  • Direct communications. If you email, call, or message us, we keep the communication and the contact details that come with it so we can respond and maintain an accurate history.
  • Engagement information. If your business becomes a client, we collect the information reasonably needed to deliver services — business details, account access you authorize, billing information, and project records. The written service agreement governs that engagement.

You are never required to provide personal information to browse the Site — but we can't schedule an audit or respond to an inquiry without a way to reach you.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Like nearly every website, we may collect certain technical information automatically when you visit:

  • Usage data — the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, and the page you came from.
  • Device and browser data — browser type and version, operating system, screen size, and device category (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Approximate location — city- or region-level location inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Log data — IP address, access times, and technical events, collected by our hosting provider as part of operating the Site securely.

This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, and through analytics services such as Google Analytics when active on the Site. It is used in aggregate to understand how the Site performs; we do not use it to identify you personally.

4. Information from Other Sources

Because our work involves auditing the public digital presence of businesses, we may review publicly available information about your business before or after you contact us — for example your website, Google Business Profile, public reviews, and advertising visibility. This is public information about a business, gathered to prepare useful recommendations. We may also receive your contact information from a referral partner who introduces your business to us; when that happens, we'll tell you where the introduction came from.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule the audit, call, or meeting you requested
  • Prepare for your audit, including reviewing your business's current digital presence
  • Deliver, manage, and improve services for client engagements
  • Communicate with you about proposals, projects, scheduling, and billing
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Understand which pages and content are useful so we can make the Site better
  • Maintain business records and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

6. Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us operate — website hosting, form processing, analytics, email, calendars and scheduling, document storage, accounting, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. They process information on our behalf, under terms that restrict them from using it for their own purposes.
  • Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
  • Business transfers. If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We'd require the receiving party to honor this policy.

That's the full list. We don't rent, trade, or sell contact lists, and we never will.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function, such as remembering a dismissed banner within a browsing session.
  • Analytics cookies — used by tools like Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage patterns in aggregate.

You can control cookies through your browser settings — including blocking them entirely or deleting them after browsing. If Google Analytics is active, you can also opt out via Google's official browser add-on. Note that some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals; there is no industry consensus on how to respond to them, so the Site does not currently change behavior in response, but we honor the cookie controls described above.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as it serves a legitimate business purpose or as required by law:

  • Inquiry records — kept while we correspond with you and for a reasonable period afterward, so we have context if you return.
  • Client records — kept for the duration of the engagement and afterward as needed for business, tax, and legal record-keeping.
  • Analytics data — retained per the analytics provider's settings, in aggregate form.

You can request deletion at any time (see Section 10); we'll honor it unless we're legally required to keep specific records.

9. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information: HTTPS encryption across the Site, access limited to people who need it, reputable service providers with their own security programs, and account credentials protected by modern authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — we can't promise absolute security, and we'd rather say that honestly than pretend otherwise. If a breach affecting your personal information ever occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of parties we've shared it with.
  • Right to access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).
  • Right to correct — request that we fix inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will never penalize you or degrade service because you exercised a privacy right.

We do not sell or "share" (as defined by the CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.

To exercise any right: email hello@digitalbmarketing.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity by matching the details of your request against the information we hold (typically your name and email address), respond within 45 days, and extend once by another 45 days if genuinely necessary — with notice. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request; we'll require proof of authorization to protect you.

11. Visitors from Outside California

Our services are directed to businesses in Southern California, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S. Regardless of where you live, you're welcome to contact us with any privacy question or request and we'll respond in good faith.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site links to third-party websites and platforms — for example Google services, scheduling tools, or the platforms discussed in our content. Once you leave our Site, their privacy policies govern. We encourage you to read them; we are not responsible for the practices of services we don't operate.

13. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adult decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Email Communications

If you contact us or become a client, we may email you about your inquiry, project, or engagement — these are operational messages, not marketing blasts. If we ever send marketing or newsletter-style email, it will include a working unsubscribe link, and opting out will not affect operational communications about an active engagement.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or legal obligations change. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, make the update reasonably visible. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means the updated policy applies.
